No, it's not on my site. In fact, only two people on my forums know of it, and one of them is me. I could
link to a demo, but it's not even remotely close to being done. Or, having a title screen, for that matter.
However, I guess I shall talk about it. It's a remake of the under-dog of the Legend of Zelda series, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (only on the NES!). For those who aren't familiar with Zelda II, it's a side-scrolling platformer/RPG, whereas all the other [2d] Zelda games are top-down action/adventure games. Zelda II is kinda like Cave Story, but worse.
Anyway, most people don't like it, including me. Or, rather, me until I took the time to really play it. It then became one of my favourite Zelda games.
Digressing, Zelda II: Deluxe (Z2DX is it's codename, and how I'll be refering to it hence forth) is a modern type remake, along the lines of Metroid: Zero Mission was to the original Metroid. I'm adding new items, revaming the graphics, re-doing the plot, and redesigning the levels in an attempt to make this a very very good game.
I started working on it 4 days ago, and I've been focussing on the engine side of things, so the demo I sekretly linked to above doesn't have very much in it. It does have part of the over world (which
is top down), and a single side-scrolling area which I'm testing in. It also has a tiny sampling of some of the new tiles that my little sister is doing for me.
Incidentally, if there's any aspiring musicians who would like to help me remix some of the old Zelda II music, I'd greatly appreciate it. Music 'aint my strong point

Anyway, that was considerably more than I expected to type. Or, wanted. Oh well.
